The new [**Time Security SIG**](https://www.first.org/global/sigs/time/) was approved and started operating. It exists to help the global FIRST community prepare for the 2036–2038 epoch rollovers. By coordinating research, testing, and outreach on time integrity, the SIG connects CSIRTs, vendors, and standards bodies to strengthen resilience across critical infrastructure. A new direction for sponsorship was announced at the 37th Annual FIRST conference in Denmark. [FIRST CORE](https://www.first.org/global/core/) provides critical funding to expand FIRST’s Community and Capacity Building Program (CCB), which focuses on developing incident response capabilities in regions where resources are limited. CORE’s goals are to foster **community**; improve **operational** capacity across the globe, build **resilience** across the digital ecosystem, and **empower** incident responders and their teams.
